The Symptoms: If you need to wiggle your power cord to keep the laptop charging or the dc jack is visibly damaged, you will need a new DC jack soldered to the motherboard of your laptop. The Repair Process: We will order the necessary parts to repair your machine and repair your DC jack the same day we receive them. Generally, we will pickup your laptop for free and complete the repairs in our workshop. Because the DC jack repair requires soldering, we cannot perform this repair at your home or place of business. Occasionally, your power cord may also be damaged and require replacing. This repair generally takes 4 days to complete unless we have the parts in stock.
